minamoni Ariake

minamoni有明（ミナモニ有明）

A three-storey neighbourhood complex that opened in May 2026 in Ariake 1-chome. There is a Belc supermarket on the ground floor, Sundrug and the Seria 100-yen shop on the second, and a children's clinic plus the Villa Mom postpartum care hotel on the third. Handy for groceries and everyday shopping if you are staying in Ariake.

Tokyo Big Sight

東京ビッグサイト

Japan's largest convention and exhibition centre, instantly recognisable for the inverted pyramid of its Conference Tower. Trade fairs, Comiket, concerts and international conferences run year-round across the East, West and South halls. Hotels, restaurants and the Ariake Garden mall are all within walking distance, so you can eat and stay without leaving the area.

Ariake GYM-EX

有明GYM-EX（有明展示場）

A flexible multi-purpose hall in Ariake used for concerts, exhibitions, esports tournaments and sporting events. The wide, open floor can be laid out to suit each event, and it is a short walk from Ariake Tennis no Mori Park and Ariake Arena.

TOC Ariake

An office and exhibition complex a few minutes from Tokyo Big Sight, often used as a satellite venue for trade shows and corporate events. Restaurants and a convenience store inside make it a practical stop before or after an exhibition.

TFT Building (Tokyo Fashion Town) and Wanza Ariake Bay Mall

TFTビル/ワンザ有明ベイモール

Twin office towers directly opposite Tokyo Big Sight, home to around 40 companies plus three halls and meeting rooms used for seminars, exhibitions and receptions. The Wanza Ariake Bay Mall on the lower floors has restaurants and shops, which makes it the quickest lunch stop during a Big Sight event.

Ariake Frontier Building

有明フロンティアビル

A large office complex facing Tokyo Big Sight, made up of a 21-storey tower and a 12-storey wing joined by a bright atrium. Completed in 1996, it is a local landmark with clinics, dining and everyday services used by Ariake residents and visitors alike.

Tokyo Rinkai Disaster Prevention Park (SONA AREA TOKYO)

東京臨海広域防災公園（そなエリア東京）

A free hands-on disaster-preparedness park where you walk through a simulated post-earthquake Tokyo and learn what to do in the first 72 hours. The exhibits are designed for families, and the wide lawns outside make it an easy stop with children between other Ariake plans.

Ariake Arena

有明アリーナ（TOKYO ARIAKE ARENA）

A 15,000-seat arena built for the Tokyo 2020 volleyball tournament and reopened in 2022 as a concert and sports venue. The main arena is lined with Japanese cedar and covered by high-density Wi-Fi. Ariake Garden, with its restaurants, hotel and hot spring, is a few minutes away on foot and is where most people go before or after a show.

TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO

トヨタアリーナ東京（TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO）

Tokyo's newest large arena, opened in October 2025 on the former MEGA WEB site in Aomi. It is the home court of the Alvark Tokyo and SunRockers Shibuya basketball teams and also hosts concerts and live events. DiverCity Tokyo Plaza and the Odaiba waterfront are a short walk away for food and shopping.

Ariake Coliseum

有明コロシアム（ARIAKE COLISEUM）

A 10,008-seat stadium inside Ariake Tennis no Mori Park, opened in 1987 and fitted in 1991 with Japan's first sliding retractable roof, so events run whatever the weather. It is the centre court for the Japan Open and the Toray Pan Pacific Open, and also hosts boxing, pro wrestling, volleyball and concerts.

livedoor URBAN SPORTS PARK

A 3.1-hectare action-sports complex on the site used for skateboarding and BMX at the Tokyo 2020 Games, fully open since October 2024. It has a skate park, indoor bouldering, 3x3 basketball courts, a 90 m running straight, 52 rope-athletic courses and a barbecue area.

Ariake Sports Center

有明スポーツセンター

A public sports centre run by Koto City, with a pool, training room and multi-purpose courts. No membership is needed and visitors from outside the ward are welcome: you simply pay per visit at the 3rd-floor reception. A swim cap is required in the pool, and the training room is for high-school age and above.

Ariake Park Building

有明パークビル

A mixed-use complex beside Tokyo Big Sight, opened in 1999. It houses the 830-room Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel, whose rooms and lobby were renovated in 2026, plus a dozen restaurants serving sushi, Chinese food and izakaya fare, and a convenience store on the lower floors. A practical base for an exhibition trip.

Ariake Tennis no Mori Park

有明テニスの森公園

A 16.3-hectare metropolitan park that is one of Japan's largest tennis complexes, with 49 courts in total, including 8 air-conditioned indoor courts and Ariake Coliseum as its centre court. Outdoor courts start from 1,500 yen per hour on weekdays and are booked through the Tokyo metropolitan park reservation system.

Symbol Promenade Park

シンボルプロムナード公園

A 26.6-hectare linear park that threads through the whole waterfront, linking Daiba, Aomi and Ariake along about 4 km of walkways. Landmarks along the way include the 60 m-wide Yume-no-Ohashi bridge, the Flame of Freedom, a tulip garden with 300 varieties and the Tokyo 2020 cauldron. Popular with runners for its signal-free 3.5 km and 5 km loops.

The largest mall in Ariake, with around 170 shops, a big food court and restaurant floor, a theatre complex, a natural hot spring and a hotel under one roof. It is the default place to eat, shop or wait out the time before and after an event at Ariake Arena, Tokyo Garden Theater or Tokyo Big Sight.

Tokyo Garden Theater

東京ガーデンシアター

An 8,000-capacity theatre-style hall in the Ariake Garden complex, opened in 2020. Four tiers of seating keep the furthest seat within about 54 m of the stage, so sightlines stay good even high up. Arena seats can be removed for standing concerts, ceremonies and exhibitions.

Ariake Shiki Theatre

有明四季劇場

The Shiki Theatre Company's dedicated house inside Ariake Garden, open since September 2021 and running Disney's The Lion King on an open-ended run in Japanese. The 1,200-seat hall puts even the rear stalls about 21 m from the stage. Children under three are not admitted, and everyone aged three and over needs their own ticket.

Izumi Tenku no Yu Ariake Garden

泉天空の湯 有明ガーデン

A 24-hour hot spring complex on the 5th floor of Ariake Garden, with natural onsen water, open-air baths, saunas and five kinds of heated stone bed. Admission is 2,600 yen for adults on weekdays and 3,800 yen at weekends and on holidays; stone baths and loungewear cost extra. Early mornings and late nights are the quietest times.

SMALL WORLDS Miniature Museum

スモールワールズ（SMALL WORLDS Miniature Museum）

Asia's largest indoor miniature museum, with about 7,000 m2 of 1/80-scale worlds: a space centre, Kansai International Airport, a global city zone, Evangelion, and a Shibuya area added in 2026. You can have a 3D figure of yourself scanned and installed as a resident of the exhibits.

Ariake Central Tower

有明セントラルタワー

A 20-storey office and retail tower completed in 2011, a few minutes from Tokyo Big Sight. Restaurants and shops occupy the first two floors, while floors three and four hold a 3,000 m2 hall and conference centre used for company events and exhibitions.

Ariake Shinsui Kaihin Park

有明親水海浜公園

A bayside park opened in stages from 2022, with a long boardwalk, a lookout deck facing Toyosu Market and the Rainbow Bridge, and a preserved prewar breakwater. A beach volleyball area was added in 2025 and a sandy beach on the west inlet in April 2026. Entry is free, and the marine recreation zone can be used for SUP and kayaking after registering.

Toyosu PIT

豊洲PIT

A standing live-music hall in Toyosu used for rock, idol and hip-hop shows as well as talk and fan events. It is one area over from Ariake on the Yurikamome, so it is easy to combine with a day around Tokyo Big Sight or Toyosu Market.

Toyosu Market

豊洲市場

The wholesale market that took over from Tsukiji in 2018 and handles most of Tokyo's seafood. Visitors can watch the tuna auction from dedicated viewing decks and eat at the sushi and seafood-bowl restaurants inside. Go early: trading starts before dawn and many restaurants close by early afternoon.

Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai

豊洲 千客万来

A food and hot-spring complex next to Toyosu Market, opened in 2024. An Edo-themed dining street serves seafood bowls, sushi and street food, and the rooftop bathhouse looks out over the bay. It pairs naturally with an early-morning visit to the market.

Toyosu Gururi Park

豊洲ぐるり公園

A waterfront park that wraps around the Toyosu Market district, popular for jogging, fishing and barbecues, with open views of the Rainbow Bridge and the Tokyo skyline. Free to enter and open around the clock, it is a quiet place to walk off a market breakfast.
